Dance Connection 

Tanya Williams has been teaching dance class in the Rochester community for 38 years.

She tap danced her way to the title of Miss Rochester in 1990. She is married and is the mother of 3 boys; ages 18, 24 and 27 years old.

While boys are always welcome in dance class, the majority of the dancers are girls.

Tanya enjoys sharing her love of dance, sparkles, glitter and anything pink, with her students. While instilling a solid dance education, she incorporates a fun and relaxed style of instruction. If it's not fun learning to dance, why come?

Tanya takes the approach to teaching as a parent first. She is cognizant of the fact she is teaching dance to a parent's beloved child. Knowing it is important to showcase every student, regardless of dance ability, each student is in the front line equally on stage at the recital.
